Pray Start Prayer Cross

Description

This hand-held prayer cross is a great reminder of Jesus’ unending love. It provides comfort during prayer and fit easily inside a pocket or purse. The cross features etched words, “Lord, Hear My Prayer” on the front.
Each cross includes a card, featuring a beautiful and inspiring arwork and a prayer starters guide.

The card reads:
Prayer starters – Prayer is a loving connection – a communion – with God. God is always seeking this union with us. The goal of prayer is intimacy with our Beloved. But how ought we to pray?
1.Adoration:
Begin by worshipping God and praising Him for who He is. We adore God because He is infinitely exalted above us, and we are entirely dependent upon Him as our Creator.
“Shout joyfully to the Lord, all you lands; worship the Lord with cries of gladness; come before him with joyful song. – Psalm 100:1-2.
2.Contrition:
To worship God in spirit and truth is to pray from the heart. So, we come before the Lord with a contrite heart. Examine your thoughts and actions over the past day.
Saint John writes; “If we say, ‘We are without sin,’ we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing” (1 John 1:8-9).
3.Thanksgiving:
Thank God for all of His benefits to you, beginning with your human life, and then the inconceivable gift of eternal life.
“I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord.” – Psalm 116:17. 4.Supplication:
God knows we all need help…lots of it! Hence, Jesus teaches us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” God wants us to ask for our own needs and those of others.
“Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.” – Philippians 4:6. 5.Pray the Our Father.
